In modern research, data has become one of the most valuable resources. To ensure research quality, reproducibility, and compliance with international standards, it is essential to manage data systematically and responsibly throughout the entire research project lifecycle.
Within the framework of the Higher Education and Science Information Technology Shared Services Center (VPC) project, UL employs a team of professional data curators who provide expert support at all stages of research data management. Curators help with data management plan creation and updates, consult on dataset quality and metadata standards, provide support in data organization, documentation and repository deposition, and assist with using VPC IT solutions.
Consultations are available to all UL researchers and research project working group representatives – contact data curators: datu.kuratori@lu.lv
